Performance Personnel Application Process
As a premier staffing agency, Performance Personnel is committed to building a relationship with each job seeker we come into contact with. This allows us to find the perfect job placement for their skills and personality with our vast network of employer clients. When you decide to partner with Performance Personnel for your job search, we make a commitment to provide exceptional service while striving to fulfill your employment needs beyond your expectations.
Step 1: Apply Online or In-Person
Once your application has been submitted, a staffing professional from Performance Personnel will contact you within 24 business hours to have a brief phone interview. During this call, we will discuss any experience you have, what salary you are hoping to achieve and determine what possible opportunities we may have that match your skill set. If there is a match available, you will be scheduled for an in-person interview at the Performance Personnel office.
For applicants that choose to apply in person at the Performance Personnel office, please come prepared with proper identification. Depending on current workloads, you may be asked to complete a client interview at the same time. Without proper identification, we will be unable to continue the next steps of the interview process. Federal and state laws require that you have presented either a passport, which is acceptable by itself, or two forms of identification that can include Driver's License, Identification Card, Social Security card, and/or Birth Certificate.
Please also bring a printed copy of your resume for review as online versions sometimes present formatting or downloading challenges.
Step 2: Interview Process
Getting to Know You – Performance Personnel wants to know more about you so we can determine if you are the right fit for any of our current employer clients. This ensures we not only find the position that meets your needs but fulfills the requirements of the employer as well.
During this interview, we will review your work history and discuss any gaps in employment, the skills you have and the type of work environment you are most suited for.
Skills Testing – If you are seeking specialized work, you may be given a skills-based test to evaluate your experience levels and training. Please ensure you have extra time available for this testing if the need arises.
References – After the interview is completed, Performance Personnel will reach out to your references to learn additional information that can be added to your work experience and skills.
Step 3: Hiring Process
Once the interview process has been completed, you may then be considered for employment with Performance Personnel. Any position you are offered will be given based on the information obtained from your application, interviews, references and skill sets that have been requested by our employer clients.
Background Checks: Preformance Personnel runs criminal background checks as well as drug tests all applicants. In some cases as required by assignment it may be necessary to access motor vehicle records, education certificates and diplomas, and/or credit checks.
Hiring: During or after the Performance personnel interview, it is required that you complete the I-9 Forms that verifies employment eligibility in compliance for government regulations. Performance Personnel is also a proud participant in the Department of Homeland Security E-Verify service as an additional step to confirm a candidate's ability to work in the United States.
Employee Payment: Employees must provide banking information and direct information as applicalbe. Global Cash Paycards are available for payment as well!
Step 4: Assignment
Once post-hire paperwork has been completed and background and drug testing are successful, you will begin an in-depth orientation about your job assignment and the associated payroll process.
If you are placed with one of our employer clients, we want to ensure you have the tools and resources to be successful from day one. Performance Personnel will provide any information you need to ensure a productive and positive experience for both you and the employer you will work with.
